Shudder just officially announced that their anthology series, Hell Motel, will return for a new season. Titled Hell Motel: Murder at Red Mountain, the new season is currently in production and stars Devon Sawa! The series comes from Slasher series creators Aaron Martin and Ian Carpenter, and we have the first details and photos from Murder at Red Mountain:
Set at a mountain resort known for eliminating people’s inhibitions and amplifying their desires, Hell Motel: Murder at Red Mountain continues to reveal the chilling consequences of surrendering to our darkest impulses amidst the unique Cold River landscape. As guests and staff go missing without explanation and violent incidents increase, it becomes clear that Red Mountain has a long horrific history for a reason and that no one is safe. Sawa stars as “Patrick,” a man with a thirst for alternative facts and theories who comes to the resort to look into historic mysteries tied to Red Mountain. Additional cast members to be announced.

Hell Motel: Murder at Red Mountain is a Shudder Original Series, developed and produced by Shaftesbury, in association with Canadian broadcaster Hollywood Suite and with the participation of Ontario Creates and the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit. The series is created and executive produced by showrunners Martin and Carpenter. Additional executive producers include Christina Jennings, Scott Garvie and director Adam MacDonald.
