Paul Skenes’ European getaway with girlfriend Olivia “Livvy” Dunne hasn’t been without a few bumps — literally.
In a video shared Saturday on TikTok, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover star chronicled door frame troubles the towering Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher encountered overseas.
“POV: your bf is 6’7 in Europe,” Dunne captioned the clip, which showed Skenes ducking his head through a series of smaller frames, including one unfortunate “bonk” on the ceiling.
“That last one hurt AF,” one of Dunne’s eight million followers replied in the comments.
“Watch your head king,” another posted.
Skenes, who is listed as 6-foot-6 on his MLB profile, just wrapped his second season with the Pirates, who drafted him first overall in 2023.
The reigning NL Rookie of the Year finished the 2024 season with a 1.97 ERA — the first qualified pitcher 23 or younger to secure an ERA under 2.00 since Dwight Golden’s 1.53 in 1985, according to MLB.
“It’s cool. I don’t come into the year with any numerical goals or anything like that, any stat goals, but it’s a product of doing what you’re supposed to — probably could have been lower, probably could have been higher, whatever. … Pretty cool,” Skenes said in September.
Skenes, 23, has been making the most of his offseason with Dunne, his girlfriend of two years.
Before jetting across the pond, the couple celebrated the former LSU gymnast’s 23rd birthday in New York.
Dunne has been giving fans a peek at the pair’s European adventures, even clapping back at critics in a recent social media video that spotlighted her athletic prowess.
“Never have seen my haters doing a headstand on a paddle board in the Mediterranean,” Dunne posted on TikTok. “I said what I said.”
The video has amassed more than 300,000 views.
