Bit Bot Media is celebrating Jim Henson and Frank Oz’s 1982 cult classic film The Dark Crystal with an all-new deluxe, limited-edition Chamberlain Mask. These lovingly produced masks will pay tribute to the unforgettable Skeksis character designs of this iconic fantasy villain, conjure memories of Barry Dennen’s otherworldly voice acting, and honor the legacy of The Dark Crystal. Perfect for cosplayers and collectors alike, Bit Bot’s Chamberlain Mask is expected to release this Fall, just in time for Halloween.
“We’re honored to collaborate with The Jim Henson Company to bring one of the most iconic characters from The Dark Crystal to collectors in a premium format,” said Joshua Viola, Bit Bot co-owner. “Our goal with this Chamberlain mask was to create something that feels authentic to the artistry of the original film while offering fans a high-end collectible worthy of display.”
Renowned for his cunning personality and unmistakable vocal mannerisms, the Chamberlain Skeksis stands out as one of the most iconic characters from The Dark Crystal. Bit Bot brings him to life, meticulously sculpted and hand-painted by Oktober Studios to capture his distinctive features. Each piece achieves a high level of realism, making it equally suited for wear or display as a bust-style collectible.
Only 250 pieces will be produced worldwide, emphasizing the collectible nature of the release. Each mask will include an exclusive collectible 4×6 print featuring the Chamberlain by artist Preston Asevedo (Conan the Barbarian).
The Chamberlain latex mask is accompanied by the art print, and will retail for $150. A release date is planned for this fall, expected just in time for Halloween. Pre-orders are now available at the official Bit Bot store.
