Many women work extremely hard and deliver high-quality results, yet still feel overlooked for opportunities, progression, or recognition. They are reliable, capable, and trusted, but often not seen as strategic, promotable, or central to key decisions. The gap is rarely about ability. More often, it’s about visibility.Strategic visibility is not about becoming loud, pushy, or performative. It’s about making sure the right people understand the value you bring, the work you want to be doing, and the direction you are heading. This article will help you understand what strategic visibility is, where women often get stuck, and how you can start to…

It is undeniable that modern-day AI machines have achieved remarkable fluency with language. They seem to understand what we tell them, regardless of the words we choose to express ourselves. This enables the same conversational fluidity that we have with humans. However, we shouldn’t lose sight of the fact that LLMs are not designed to be truthful, but to ensure that the narrative “makes sense” in any context. Given a context, LLMs are trained to generate what should come next in the developing narrative. Confabulations—plausible- sounding distortions or fabrications—are part of its repertoire, regardless of whether they correspond to truth…
Never got it. Never really got it. Why do we have tests at school? Why do we measure the performance of training after the training by means of a summative assessment? The ones given at the end of a term to measure mastery of the content that was taught. The multiple-choice tests, or short essay questions, that result in a good or bad grade. Sure, the lion’s share of students dislike taking pop quizzes, tests, and exams. I was one of those students. But even looking back as a former (!) student, now being an instructor and trainer myself, in…
It is St. Patrick’s Day. You have consumed some amount of green liquid. You are wearing something you would not wear any other day of the year. And somewhere, on a television in a house near yours, a man in elaborate prosthetic makeup is delivering a pun before murdering someone with a pogo stick. This is tradition. This is culture. This is the Leprechaun franchise, and today of all days it demands to be taken seriously. Or not seriously. Honestly not seriously at all. Here is the thing about these eight films: none of them are good in the traditional…
Following President Trump’s lead, in 2025, Utah proposed a new “campus” to involuntarily detain and treat as many as 1,300 homeless people. There is little reason to think this planned re-institutionalization would improve the lives of the detainees—the evidence of long-term benefits of involuntary treatment for substance use and mental health disorders is mixed, at best, whereas the deprivation of liberty is undeniable. But Utah had no choice, Governor Spencer Cox explained, because “everything we’ve been doing has been a complete and abject failure.” Not true. Also in Salt Lake City, just six miles south of the proposed campus site,…
“This young girl seems innocent, but she may just be a devil in disguise.” Over the past several years, Mike Mignola and Rachele Aragno have delighted readers with chilling and charming tales of the adventurous young vampyr Leonide, so we’re especially thrilled to exclusively announce that this fall, Dark Horse Comics will release a Leonide the Vampyr hardcover collection containing the “Leonide the Vampyr: Miracle at the Crow’s Head one-shot, Leonide the Vampyr: A Christmas for Crows one-shot, Leonide the Vampyr: The House of Yonda #1–#2, and bonus sketchbook material.” In addition to the exclusive details, we also have the…
Each year, around the International Day of Happiness on March 20, the World Happiness Report compares well-being across nearly 150 countries. The question it raises is simple but profound: Where in the world are people living the happiest lives—and why? The rankings come from responses to a single question known as the Cantril ladder. This question asks people to rate their lives on a scale from 0 (the worst possible life) to 10 (the best possible life). Each country’s score reflects roughly 3,000 respondents across the past three years. As in many previous years, the 2026 report finds that Scandinavian…
The Denver Broncos were having a monotonous offseason. Then, they acquired Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle earlier this week, and the newcomer is thrilled to be playing in the Rockies. “I think I just bring another playmaker to the team. Someone that can help out and try to make plays to the best of my ability. I think it’s going to be a fun group,” Waddle said on Wednesday, according to NFL.com. “They have a lot of talent with Court [Coutland Sutton], Marv [Marvin Mims Jr.], Troy [Franklin], Pat [Bryant], Lil’Jordan [Humphrey]. I’m here to help in every fashion,…
