Dramatic video shows UK police Taser and arrest a suspect following a mass stabbing attack on a train that left 11 people wounded, two of them critically.
The alleged attacker, dressed all in black, screamed “kill me, kill me, kill me,” according to Viorel Turturica, a 42-year-old taxi driver who took the video.
In video shared with the Sun, the man is wrestled to the ground on a train platform as multiple armed officers and a police dog surround him at Huntingdon train station in the east of England Saturday night.
“Get him in a f–king hold!” one cop is heard shouting.
As the suspect appears to fight back, the buzz of a Taser is heard.
“Give me your hands now,” an officer is heard ordering the suspect, while another shouts, “Get the cuffs!”
Two suspects have been arrested for attempted murder following the attack on board a London North Eastern Railway (LNER) train heading from Doncaster in the north of England to London’s King’s Cross station at around 7:30 p.m.
The train had just left Peterborough when police and ambulance received calls about a mass stabbing on board and brought the train to a halt in Huntingdon.
Viorel was waiting for a passenger at Huntingdon when he saw people running out of the station in a panic.
“Then 10 seconds later a man dressed in black holding a huge kitchen knife in his hand runs past my car,” he told the Sun.
“The police arrive seconds later and I could hear him shouting ‘kill me, kill me, kill me’ to them. They then taser him and as soon as he is down they say to him ‘drop your weapon,’ that’s when I started recording,” he said.
