Model Haley Kalil said “it’s unfortunate” that recent comments she made about her and her ex-husband, former NFL offensive lineman Matt Kalil’s marital issues, went viral.
After discussing their sex life on Twitch with Marlon, a popular streamer and internet personality, Haley — who seemingly bragged about Matt being well-endowed — explained that their deep connection deserves more attention than the “funny soundbite” making rounds online.
“I care deeply about respecting his privacy and the integrity of what we shared together,” Haley, who filed for divorce from Matt in 2022, told TMZ. “During our livestream, we talked about so much more than what’s being highlighted — the love in our marriage, the growth we experienced, the depth of our connection.
Warning: Graphic Language
“It’s unfortunate that only one fragment is being amplified, because it doesn’t capture the full story of how meaningful things were to me. I hope [that] our hour-and-a-half-long conversation reflects more than a funny soundbite.”
Matt, who’s been private about his personal life after their divorce, has yet to address the situation publicly.
The former first-round pick by the Vikings married model Keilani Asmus in April 2024, and they welcomed a son that year.
During her recent Twitch appearance, Haley was cryptic while hinting at what was “the biggest factor” in her split with Matt.
“We were trying to do the damn thing and [putting in work in their marriage],” Haley said before she typed something on her phone that wasn’t meant for the livestream and showed Marlon.
“Deadass… for our whole marriage, deadass. But I was going to try it all. We tried it all: therapist, doctors. Not even lying… Looked up lipo-type s–t… That’s why it’s kinda funny. It’s like my life is a comedy, and it kinda writes itself.
“That was the biggest factor… Love him, but he’s my homie… No, because he’s like .01 percent of the population. We’ve tried, impossible unless you’re going to be in tears type s–t.”

Haley went on to suggest his size was the issue.
“He was like two Coke cans on top of each other, maybe even a third,” she said.

Haley went on to praise Matt, calling him a “really good person” — and explained that despite having their issues, “we were really chill people” in the divorce.
The model — who was featured as a rookie in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s 2019 issue — said they shared a lawyer and she “was on his phone plan until a few years ago.”
Haley filed for divorce from Matt, citing “irreconcilable differences,” in May 2022, according to TMZ.
The pair, who married in July 2015, separated in January 2022, per court documents.
Matt has embraced his new chapter with Asmus, who posted a loved-up Instagram video of the couple Wednesday as Haley’s account went viral.
“Do me a favor and bury me in this moment,” the caption read.
