The Pitchfork Retreat is a psychological horror featuring the late and great Tony Todd in one of his last on screen appearances.
While the film will be officially released in 2026, an advanced screening is being shown in the Big Apple. You can see The Pitchfork Retreat at the New York City Horror Film Festival! The worldwide festival reveal will be at 7:45p.m. on Saturday, December 6 at the LOOK Dine-In on West 57th St in Manhattan. Tickets are available here!
In addition to Todd, the film also stars Lukas Hassel (Slapface), Joseph D. Reitman (The Blackout) and Nicole Van Voorhis.
The Premise of The Pitchfork Retreat
“Hell-bent on winning a life-changing competition, Matt (Hassel), Mandy (Van Voorhis) and Nikolai (Reitman) journey to a secluded island for a high-stakes horror retreat. But, the prize comes with a price as they realize there is nowhere to hide when the darkness from within comes to light.”

Fuzz (Terrifier franchise, STREAM) is incredible at making horror movies because the production company was created by horror enthusiasts Michael and Jason Leavy. With the brother’s admiration and respect of the genre comes gore-ific results. The Pitchfork Retreat appears to be no different!

The psychological thriller is directed by brother and sister Gregory and Nicole Van Voorhis. The horror duo also co-directed the 2018 short Crybaby and Four Corner’s Road in 2012.
