Femke Bol opens up about meeting Ben Broeders

Femke Bol opened up about meeting Ben Broeders in an interview at the Monaco Diamond League. The Dutch athlete shared how their meeting transformed into a beautiful relationship after a period of time.
She shared how they were very different people; however, they put in great efforts to understand each other, which makes their relationship beautiful. Moreover, as both of them are professional athletes, their support for each other during crucial moments plays a huge role in dealing with the stress and pressure of competing on the global stage.
“We met at the Stockholm Diamond League in 2020. In a Diamond League, you come across each other in the dining hall, and just like that, we met. I think we really listen to each other. We try to understand each other. We are completely different people. We deal with things completely differently. And I think that’s also a strong thing,” she said.
