The December 29 edition of WWE RAW is set to be the promotion’s final show of 2025. With two major title matches announced, it is bound to be an entertaining watch.
However, with another massive edition of WWE RAW set for next week, there are a few twists that could happen tonight to close the year with a bang. On that note, here are five such shocking things that could take place.

5. Rhea Ripley or IYO SKY could get injured
Ripley and SKY are set to challenge the Kabuki Warriors for the Women’s Tag Team Championship next week. Asuka and Kairi Sane are unlikely to let the opportunity to gain an advantage slide, and could attack their challengers tonight, potentially injuring one of them in kayfabe.
This would give them the upper hand next week, while also making for a bigger challenge for Rhiyo to overcome.
4. Liv Morgan could cost Raquel Rodriguez her title match on WWE RAW
Raquel Rodriguez is set for a Women’s World Championship match, as she takes on Stephanie Vaquer and Nikki Bella in a Triple Threat match. The tension between Rodriguez and her Judgment Day teammate, Liv Morgan, has been evident.
Morgan is seemingly discontent with Rodriguez getting a world title shot before her. Out of frustration, she could end up costing her partner the title match, turning on her in the process, and potentially leaving The Judgment Day.
3. The Usos could turn heel
The Usos are set to challenge AJ Styles and Dragon Lee for the World Tag Team Championship on tonight’s episode of WWE RAW. The twins earned their shot by defeating The New Day, and could win the titles for the first time in their careers. However, things could take a dramatic twist.
Jimmy and Jey Uso could cheat to win the titles, or could attack the champions after failing to dethrone them to turn heel. Things have seemed a bit off with their reunion, and they could have a massive change of character tonight.
2. Dominik Mysterio could be stripped of the Intercontinental Championship
Dirty Dom suffered a legitimate shoulder injury during the recent AAA Guerra de Titanes event. He faced his father, Rey Mysterio, and Rey Fenix while teaming up with El Grande Americano. However, he landed awkwardly after a DDT spot with his father and was in considerable pain.
Mysterio’s injury could be acknowledged tonight on WWE RAW, and he could potentially be stripped of the Intercontinental Championship if he is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
1. Rey Mysterio could be written off
The WWE Hall of Famer is set to face Austin Theory on tonight’s edition of WWE RAW. He was pinned by the former United States Champion last week and is set to settle his issues with him one-on-one tonight. However, Mysterio could be written off after a brutal attack by The Vision.
Theory could be asked to prove his loyalty to The Vision, and could take out the veteran with a brutal post-match attack to write him off. This would portray him as a ruthless heel while also allowing him to truly earn his spot in the faction.
