A female Greyhound Bus worker was viciously stabbed by a deranged New Jersey woman at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan just as Tuesday morning’s rush was kicking off, according to police.
Horrified bystanders saw Angelle Thompson, 35, of Somerville standing over her helpless and terrified 25-year-old victim — clutching a blood-soaked blade, Port Authority officials and sources told The Post.
Thompson — who may have been involved in a previous dispute with her victim — is now facing attempted murder, assault and weapons possession charges.
“The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital for further evaluation,” an authority spokesperson said in an email.
“The incident is under investigation. Preliminary reports indicate that the incident stemmed from a previous argument between the two individuals.”
The violence erupted at 6:53 a.m. at near a ticket booth at the PA.

Several Port Authority police officers rushed the fallen victim and were able to control her bleeding before she was whisked to Bellevue Hospital.
Thompson was arrested nearby and charged, police said.
