The second match at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 featured the Intercontinental Championship bout between John Cena and Dominik Mysterio, which ended with the banger return of the former Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan, for the first time since this summer.
Morgan returned toward the end of the match between Cena and Mysterio when the referee was down, and the entire Judgment Day faction fell short in helping “Dirty” Dom beat The Cenation Leader.

The Miracle Kid’s music hit, and fans gave the loudest pop of the night. Initially, Liv shocked the fans by slapping Dominik, suggesting she may have turned on him and jumped to hug Cena, but it was all a trap for the veteran, as the former Women’s World Champion’s expression suddenly changed. She connected a low blow on the Ruthless Aggression legend.
Taking advantage of it, “Dirty” Dom hit his finisher and pinned John Cena clean to recapture the Intercontinental Championship. This marked the blockbuster return of Liv, and the two celebrated on their way out.
How did Liv Morgan get injured on WWE RAW?
Earlier this year, on the June 16 episode of Monday Night RAW, while building a feud with Nikki Bella for Evolution 2025, the 31-year-old star faced Kairi Sane in a singles match, which turned into a nightmare for her.
The Judgment Day member botched a move and fell hard on her shoulder. Later, she was announced as injured and was taken off television.
Her return has surely shaken the entire trajectory of the flagship show’s women’s division. That said, it will be interesting to see what plans Triple H and his WWE creative team have for the Miracle Kid in the coming weeks, as the company is heading towards the new year and will soon kick off Road to WrestleMania 42.
