Jimmy Fallon and Bozoma Saint John are bringing in the big guns to inspire their budding creatives in tonight’s episode of On Brand with Jimmy Fallon, which tasks contestants with pitching and executing marketing campaigns to famous brands for their chance to win a $100,000 cash prize.
In an exclusive clip obtained by Decider, Saint John calls on her friend Erika Jayne, of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, to kick things off before the contestants present their self-written jingles to Jim “JT” Taylor, the President of Sonic.
“Make some noise for one of my favorite singers,” Saint John begins. “She’s a celebrated recording artist who’s topped the charts and starred in Chicago on Broadway. It’s the one, the only, Erika Jayne!”
Clearly there are some Bravo fans among the contestants because everyone is excited to see the “XXPEN$IVE” songstress, especially Elijah, who lets out a yelp when she struts onto the stage in her bedazzled denim getup.
“I screamed when Erika Jayne walked out,” Elijah says in his confessional. “That was for my mother. I feel like my scream was just, like, her screaming through me.”
Casual as ever, Jayne looks at Fallon and her co-star and says, “What’s going on, Boz? Thank you for having me. Hey, Jimmy!”
“Listen, when Boz calls, you come,” Jayne adds.
The two women became close when Saint John joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14. When Decider spoke to Jayne ahead of Saint John’s debut season, she had nothing but kind things to say about the rookie reality star.
“I’m excited for everybody to meet the new girl,” she said in the November 2024 interview. “I think that she is wonderful. I think she has a great personal story. I think she comes into the group, fits right in, speaks her mind and is very charming, very charismatic, has a great personal story. And, you know, I’m excited to watch the group grow in different directions.”
New episodes of On Brand with Jimmy Fallon air Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT and Fridays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and stream the next day on Peacock.
