Brittany Mahomes appeared to address Charlie Kirk’s assassination with a cryptic social media post.
On Thursday, the Kansas City Current co-owner reposted via her Instagram Story quotes by author Sharon McMahon that read, “Hate will not get us out of this mess.”
“Your feelings might lie and try to tell you otherwise, but hate doesn’t know how to heal or build, only how to harm and destroy.”
Mahomes has not confirmed whether the post is about Kirk, the right-wing activist who was shot dead while at a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.
Her reps also did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
However, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been a subtle supporter of the Republican party — although she has never publicly stated for whom she voted.
In August 2024, she was called out for “liking” a “Make America Great Again” post on Instagram.
She said in response at the time, “To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood.
“There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.”
President Trump then praised Brittany for backing him, calling her “beautiful” as well.
The WAG, 30, is not the only famous face to seemingly speak out in light of Kirk’s death, however.
Chris Pratt wrote via X shortly after the shooting, “Praying for Charlie Kirk right now, for his wife and young children, for our country. We need God’s grace. God help us.”
Tim Allen also chimed in online, “On this sad and day remembering 9-11. I add a somber prayer for Charlie Kirks family. This is a very dark moment.”
Even celebs from the other side of the political aisle, like the “View” co-hosts, who are predominantly Democratic, lambasted the senseless killing.
Whoopi Goldberg said on the talk show Thursday, “Isn’t it a fundamental part of being an American that we are able to express our opinions to each other without fear, without this kind of horror happening? And it seems to be something we are seeing more and more of.
“It’s not even left or right, it’s just people being taken out because of their beliefs or their thoughts.”
