O’Neill arrived at the Heights in 1988, and has led ticket sales while overseeing ticket sales & operations and contributed to a record number in ticket sales. He will focus on the overall strategies and management of the ticket sales and service department, fan retention, and sales and service for the student Gold Pass.
Blanchette will oversee the day-to-day operations for marketing and creative services. He arrived at the Heights in 2015 and has been responsible for overseeing football and men’s basketball marketing and advertising plans, focusing on maximizing revenue, attendance, and fan engagement. Prior to arriving at Boston College, Blanchette spent six years at UMass, where he was elevated to the role of Director of Sales and Director of Marketing.
Thompson, who has been with BC for 25 years overseeing ticket and parking sales and service operations, now will lead the ticket sales and service team helping the office with sales strategies and maximizing inventory management.
Shabomardenly, who is now in his fifth year at Boston College, has led efforts with creative production as well as social media management for the athletic department. In his new role he will be leading the communication team, media coordination, and coordinating enhanced use of content creation and technology in support of Boston College’s 31 varsity programs.
