DENVER — Unacceptable. Unforgivable. And unfathomable — except that this is the Giants, and well, that is how they roll sometimes. You do not spell collapse with a “D,” and the Giants know this because their defense coughed up a game they had won, until they did not.
It was the French Collection. A trio of slick robbers disguised as construction workers took fewer than 10 minutes to brazenly break into the Louvre Museum in front of visitors and workers Sunday and coolly make off with millions of dollars in priceless gems, French authorities said. Here’s how the sensational, lightening-quick heist went down. Scooters and chainsaws At 9:30 a.m., just half an hour after the famed art museum opened, the gang of three thieves arrived at the central Paris tourist attraction on scooters. Forensic experts pore over the crime scene at the Louvre Museum in Paris after Sunday’s…
Muslims are blasting Zohran Mamdani’s association with controversial Imam Siraj Wahhaj, warning that legitimizing the former terror suspect could fuel radical extremism. “I am particularly concerned to see mosques used as political rallying platforms in the free and democratic United States,” said Dalia Ziada, a Muslim scholar and fellow at the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy. “By embracing Wahhaj, Zohran Mamdani is sidelining moderate Muslims and normalizing an extremist ideology that once inspired terror on American soil and still fuels radicalization within segments of the Muslim community today,” she told Fox News. Zohran Mamdani (center) visits…

People treat AI chatbots as an expert source, synthesizing and summarizing key ideas across every possible field–but these chatbots aren’t neutral. They’re biased towards confirming your ideas and validating you, even if that means providing incorrect information. The rich and powerful have long complained about not getting honest feedback from friends and colleagues, because everyone around them is trying to win their favor. With the widespread adoption of chatbots, suddenly everyone in the world has a yes-man in their pocket, ready to hype them up. AI companies have confirmed this bias towards sycophancy. In April, OpenAI rolled back an update…
A United Airlines pilot was injured and forced to make an emergency landing after a mystery object smashed the windshield of a Boeing 737 at 36,000 feet. Two of the NFC’s best quarterbacks are set to go head-to-head in “America’s Game of the Week.” Jayden Daniels has put up two strong performances since he returned from a knee injury in Week 5, while Dak Prescott has earned himself some MVP buzz through the first third of the season. However, both the Commanders (3-3) and Cowboys (2-3-1) are seeking a win on Sunday after each lost at the buzzer in Week 6. Tom Brady, Kevin Burkhardt, Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi will be on the call for the intriguing matchup between NFC East rivals. You can follow along…
Diners already concerned about the cost of eating out may be disappointed to learn that many restaurants are considering raising prices to keep up with inflated food and drink costs. Restaurant management software company Toast recently released its 2025 Voice of the Restaurant Industry Survey, revealing that improving profitability was the top concern for operators headed into next year. Operators ranked inflation (20%), marketing (16%) and hiring (16%) as their top three business pain points. Nearly half of all 712 restaurant decision-makers surveyed (48%) said they plan to increase menu prices if inflation continues to be a factor. The National Restaurant Association estimates that,…
Russia’s largest gas processing plant was forced to shut down — at least partially — after a Ukrainian drone attack sparked a fire and caused major damage on Sunday, officials said. The plan stopped taking in natural gas from Kazakhstan following the overnight attack at the Orenburg processing plant, the largest facility of its kind on the planet, Kazakhstan’s energy ministry said. The damage and processing freeze is yet another blow to Moscow — as Kyiv continues to bombard energy facilities in the hopes of crippling Russia’s ability to wage war. Ukraine attacked the massive Orenburg gas plant overnight, forcing Russia…
Archaeologists recently found an extraordinary relic of early Christianity: a 1,200-year-old loaf of burned bread bearing the image of Jesus Christ. The discovery was announced by the Karaman Governorship, located in south-central Turkey, in a Facebook post on Oct. 8. The bread dates back to the 7th or 8th centuries A.D. It’s one of five carbonized loaves recently found at the Topraktepe archaeological site, once the ancient city of Eirenopolis. Pictures from the excavation show the blackened loaf bearing a faint image of Christ. The inscription on the loaf reads, “With gratitude to the Blessed Jesus.” The image did not incorporate the popular…
