For many competitive athletes, the holidays don’t feel like a break. Instead, they can feel like a disruption to training, nutrition routines, rest schedules, and performance expectations that athletes may spend all year working to maintain. Add family gatherings, increased social demands, long travel days, irregular sleep, and unpredictable schedules, and suddenly even highly motivated athletes may feel overwhelmed. Food-related stress can also surface during the holidays, especially when routines shift or when athletes feel scrutinized by others’ comments or expectations. Social comparison plays a role too. Many athletes see teammates posting workouts during breaks, which can trigger performance anxiety…
A glowing piece by a New York Magazine site highlighting Miss Palestine Nadeen Ayoub’s life and background claiming she’s “seen some things” made a glaring omission —never mentioning her marriage and child with the son of a convicted terrorist who Hamas wants released from Israeli prison. Ayoub, who competed in the Miss Universe pageant on Friday, was featured in a glam article by The Cut for being the first-ever woman to hold the Miss Palestine title, heralding her for her dedication to humanitarian work — painting her as a voice for unity, hope, and a people “more than their suffering.”…

Featured pricing is subject to change. Let’s get one thing out of the way first before officially starting this story. I am not a lifelong wrestling fan. In fact, I’ll admit I know next to nothing about the sport. Sure, like pretty much any Millennial guy, I grew up hearing the names Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple-H and The Undertaker bandied about on the playground. Yet, somehow, I never really got into WWE,…
Susan Monica is currently serving two life sentences in prison. Her crimes are so grotesque and twisted she has become a notorious individual among true crime enthusiasts. Although technically a serial killer is a murderer who kills three or more people, who knows what Monica would have done had she not been caught? Or if there are others she hasn’t admitted to. Susan Monica in Court (NBC) The killer started out as a heroic wartime veteran. After fighting in the Vietnam war, Monica went on to become an engineer. That vocation wouldn’t last and in 1991 she decided to buy…
Pootie-poot’s a pinup boy! A new Vladimir Putin propaganda calendar features cringey photos of the war-mongering Russian president looking powerful and masculine each month — including portraits of him body-slamming a judo partner and driving a snowmobile. The 2026 calendar released by the Kremlin features the dictator in a different, supposedly candid shot each month, alongside a quote from one of his speeches or remarks from the previous year. The 2026 calendar released by the Kremlin shows the dynamic dictator in a different supposedly candid image each month, next to a quote from one of his speeches or remarks from…
Even felons and alleged murderers can get a taste of Thanksgiving while behind bars, including accused UnitedHealthcare CEO slayer Luigi Mangione, convicted sex fiend Sean “Diddy” Combs and Jeffrey Epstein’s madame Ghislaine Maxwell. All three famous inmates and other notable figures behind bars will have the option to dine on turkey and other Thanksgiving staples Thursday at three federal lockups that have holiday themed options on the menu, The Post has learned. Brooklyn’s notorious Metropolitan Detention Center — which houses Mangione, accused sex-dungeon torturer Howard Rubin, and accused sex-traffickers Tal and Oren Alexander — is serving up roast turkey, mashed…
An American passenger aboard a cruise touring the Caribbean islands was reported missing when she failed to return to the vessel after an excursion in Sint Maarten last Thursday, local officials said. Ann Evans, 55, embarked on the Holland America Line’s 12-day cruise in the Caribbean on Nov. 16. Just four days in, she mysteriously vanished during an “organized island tour” of Sint Maarten, according to a missing person alert from the Government of Sint Maarten. Ann Evans, 55, disappeared from a Holland America Line cruise on Nov. 20. Government of Sint Maarten Evans left the “Rotterdam” ship around 10…
At 33, I lost my husband to advanced adrenal cancer. Despite my master’s in social work, the resulting immense sadness, anxiety, and fear were overwhelming. His funeral, just before Thanksgiving, made the first holiday season excruciating. For three years, I coped by reading extensively about grief, which brought up my father’s cancer death before my fifth birthday. This personal research evolved into global interviews with widows, from Montana to the Kibera slum, for my book, A Widow’s Guide to Healing. A key finding was the profound isolation felt by the bereaved, especially during seasonal markers like the holidays. Approaching this…
Rian Johnson’s Knives Out series and Kenneth Branagh’s Hercule Poirot trilogy have something in common: their darkest entries are my favorite. Wake Up Dead Man is a stimulating whodunit that proves Johnson has plenty of wit left in the tank, this time with a theological curiosity. As if another Benoit Blanc investigation bursting with Daniel Craig’s intellectual charms wasn’t enough, Johnson’s screenplay hosts conversations about faith and futility, devotion and manipulation. Themes of religious radicalism pair elegantly with mystery trappings, served indulgently by another quirky ensemble of suspects. It’s everything we want from another Knives Out spectacle, as good as…
President Donald Trump signed an executive order Monday directing Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to begin designating certain chapters of the Muslim Brotherhood as Foreign Terrorist Organizations and Specially Designated Global Terrorists. The order, invoking the Immigration and Nationality Act and the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, cites the group’s involvement in violence across the Middle East, including rocket attacks on Israel following the Oct. 7, 2023, assault. The move begins a 30-day review led by the State and Treasury Departments to identify Brotherhood chapters in Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon for possible designation, which could freeze assets, restrict…
