DHAKA — At least five people, including a child, were killed and around 100 injured when a magnitude-5.7 earthquake struck Bangladesh on Friday, the government said, with buildings damaged in many areas including the densely populated capital, Dhaka. DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — An Indian fighter jet crashed Friday at the start of a demonstration flight in front of a crowd of spectators at the Dubai Air Show, killing its sole pilot. A suspect was shot and killed by a cop inside the terminal at Missouri’s St. Louis Lambert International Airport early Friday. An airport police officer opened fire on the person at about 1 a.m. inside Terminal 1, KSDK reported. A crime scene had been set up inside the terminal near the American Airlines ticketing counter. It wasn’t immediately clear what sparked the incident. Authorities haven’t released any further details. The suspect, who hasn’t been publicly identified, was shot and later died. No other injuries were reported.
