The Housemaid is a new thriller soon to be released in theaters on December 19th. The movie is directed by Paul Feig (Freaks and Geeks). Surprisingly, Feig is a lifelong horror fan and has quite a few horror irons in the fire. One future project is a recently announced Blumhouse film. The movie will be based off of the docuseries Worst Roommate Ever, currently streaming on Netflix. Xavier Gipson is headed down I-95.  After being cut by the Jets and the Giants in the span of 10 days, Gipson is now a member of the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles after they claimed him off waivers, the team announced on Monday.  Gipson is now on his third team this season after his time with the Jets ended after a costly miscue in their Week 1 loss to the Steelers, and then he spent nine days as a Giant without playing in a game for them.  The Eagles made the move a day after they had had issues…

The Long Walk doesn’t dress up Stephen King’s story to be anything that it isn’t. Francis Lawrence’s adaptation stays true to the lean, often cruel spirit of the book, in which young men walk for their lives and a fat cash prize.
