Self-forgiveness is generally understood as the process of taking responsibility for one’s own wrongdoing and then releasing the negative feelings associated with it. What makes self-forgiveness so difficult for some people? This was the main question of a study led by psychologist Lydia Woodyatt of Flinders University in Australia. In order to pursue this inquiry, she and her research team recruited 80 individuals, split between those who could and couldn’t forgive themselves. Steelers quarterback Skylar Thompson was the victim of a mugging on Friday night in the Irish capital ahead of Pittsburgh’s game against the Vikings at Croke Park, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported. At least four people were killed when Russia unleashed a barrage of drones and missiles on Ukraine overnight into Sunday, with the capital city of Kyiv suffering the heaviest assault. This is the first major bombardment since an air attack on Kyiv killed at least 21 people last month. Russell M. Nelson, the oldest-ever president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, died Saturday night at the age of 101, church officials announced. Nelson died at his home in Salt Lake City, church spokesperson Candice Madsen said in a statement.
