A bargain hunter recently spotted ancient artifacts, including rings and medallions, that were up for sale for a mere $30. The customer noticed the treasures at a thrift store in Chilliwack, Canada, around 60 miles east of Vancouver. Simon Fraser University, a public university in British Columbia that ultimately received the finds, announced the donation in a Sept. 24 press release. CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Two state police officers in Pennsylvania pursuing a vehicle were shot in an exchange of gunfire with a suspect who was killed, authorities said. The Rockettes are getting a Christmas present: Radio City Musical Hall is kicking up the sound quality. The 92-year-old venue will swap out its old audio system for the same new technology used by the Sphere in Las Vegas next month, MSG Entertainment announced on Wednesday.   Starting with the “Christmas Spectacular” on Nov. 6, the theater’s speaker count will jump from about 100 to more than 7,000 top-of-the-line devices.
