Thousands of people were evacuated from their homes in Hong Kong overnight so experts could defuse a large US-made bomb left over from World War II that was discovered at a construction site. Police said the bomb was nearly 5 feet in length and weighed about 1,000 pounds. It was discovered by construction workers in Quarry Bay, a bustling residential and business district on the west side of Hong Kong island. AEW World champion “Hangman” Adam Page can’t help but have a little fun at his former on-screen friends’ expense while revealing what it would take for him to consider mending that relationship. The Young Bucks, Matt and Nick Jackson, have spent the last month being treated like enhancement talent – the lowest rung possible in pro wrestling. It’s part of a self-deprecatory storyline in AEW after their executive vice president titles were taken away due to their loss to Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay at All In in July at Globe Life Field. On screen, they were stripped of their…

This is about the point of the college football season where we separate the contenders from the pretenders, while also leaving some room for teams that we aren’t quite sure about just yet. It seems like most of the college football world believes that No. 23 Missouri (3-0) falls in the latter category. Frankly, I don’t know what else Missouri needs to do to change that mindset. The Tigers are an ascending power in…
Russia launched a large-scale missile and drone attack targeting regions across Ukraine early on Saturday, killing at least three people and wounding dozens more, Ukrainian officials said. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said attacks took place across nine regions, including Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Kyiv, Odesa, Sumy and Kharkiv. “The enemy’s target was our infrastructure, residential areas and civilian enterprises,” he said, adding that a missile equipped with cluster munitions struck a multi-story building in the city of Dnipro. The Ohio Conference of Teamsters has endorsed Vivek Ramaswamy for governor, in a shift from past support of Democrats, his campaign confirmed to Fox News Digital. The biotech entrepreneur and former 2024 presidential candidate has already earned a handful of union endorsements for the 2026 gubernatorial election, according to the Ohio Dispatch. His campaign said he had already been endorsed by the Ohio State Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters, the Central Midwest Regional Council of Carpenters, the Cleveland Building & Construction Trades Council and the Northwest Ohio Building & Construction Trades Council. Interestingly, the Ohio State Association of Plumbers and…
An elderly British couple were released by the Taliban this week after eight months in captivity. Barbie Reynolds, 76, and husband Peter Reynolds, 80, arrived in Qatar on Friday following months of negotiations between Qatar, the Taliban and Britain. The couple had lived in Afghanistan for 18 years, where they ran an education charity. Despite the ordeal, Barbie Reynolds said they would return to Afghanistan if they could. They are both Afghan citizens. “God is good, as they say in Afghanistan,” she added at the Kabul airport. The couple, who had been taken into custody in February, were met by relatives, including their daughter, when…
It was a divine “drug bust.” A worker at an Orthodox seminary in Yonkers found a cache of “drugs” — but soon discovered the priceless objects were of a “holy” different nature. Drug-sniffing dogs swarmed St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary last week when cops were called for possible illegal narcotics on the scenic, tree-covered campus, WABC reported. A worker at an Orthodox seminary in Yonkers found the priceless objects. Newly released police bodycam footage shows Tyler Robinson after a 2022 fender bender in Utah — sporting sunglasses and a hat eerily similar to what he was seen wearing while on the run after allegedly gunning down conservative activist Charlie Kirk three years later. The video, obtained by Scripps News, shows the then-19-year-old Robinson calmly speaking with police after crashing his silver Audi into a Ford sedan making a left turn at an intersection in St. George, Utah. “As I was coming through, he turned in, and I T-boned into the side of him,” the alleged assassin calmly explained to…
It took seven games for Citi Field to reject Jose Siri. The Mets’ platoon center fielder, who missed most of the season with a broken leg and made his seventh home appearance Friday (and just his second start in Queens since April), was booed often in a 12-6 Mets victory over the Nationals because of a couple misplays and few rough at-bats. “He didn’t have a good day,” manager Carlos Mendoza said of Siri, with whom he talked because he wanted Siri to keep his head up. During a dreadful, four-run third inning, which also featured a poor throw from…
