A defining moment of the Aaron Judge Yankee Era comes tonight. In today’s Three Things I Think video I’ll dig into the fact that we saw Jazz Chisholm’s full skillset on display in the Yankees’ wild-card win just one day after being benched in their Game 1 loss. He can win you games with his energy and he can sometimes hurt you in games with his energy. Can he keep the positive momentum going moving forward? Speaking of benches… what will Aaron Boone do with his in this do-or-die Game 3? I know what I would do. I’ll speak on…
Have you ever experienced a relationship with someone who leaves you feeling like you’ve been used? Whether it’s friendship, family, or marriage, there are those relationships that seem based on what you can do for them and rarely, if at all, about you. As a therapist, I hear this all the time. “I’m in a relationship where it’s all about them. Should I end the relationship? Or is there something wrong with me if I stay?” Relationships are complicated, and people are complicated, but in any relationship that has you feeling that ‘it’s all about them,’ there comes a time…
With at least another day before the Senate votes to potentially end the government shutdown, the White House is preparing for mass layoffs. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Director Russell Vought told House Republicans in a Wednesday call that reductions in the workforce will happen in a day or two, according to sources on a call. Meanwhile, as many as a dozen lawmakers may be looking for a resolution on both a new deadline for a stopgap measure and on enhanced Affordable Care Act credits, which will expire at year’s end and result in soaring premiums. Lawmakers expect the shutdown could…
At least two people were killed and several others injured Thursday when a madman plowed a car into pedestrians and stabbed a security guard outside a UK synagogue on Yom Kippur — the holiest day in the Jewish calendar. Cops descended on the scene after a witness reported seeing a car crashing into members of the public before a man was stabbed and left lying in a pool of blood outside the synagogue. The attack suspect was shot dead by police…

When firefighters brought out the body of his 4-year-old son in a bag from a budget hotel demolished by a 6.9-magnitude earthquake in the central Philippines, Isagani Gelig stooped down and gently stroked the black cadaver bag for several minutes, trying to feel his child’s remains inside for the last time. A bag containing the body of Gelig’s wife, the Condor Pension House’s receptionist, was carried out next. She had worked there at night while taking care of their son, John. A rescuer handed him a cellphone found with her body and he nodded a confirmation that it was hers. Gelig and…
Nicole Kidman is “sad, but moving on,” pals say, after her marriage of 19 years to Keith Urban crumbled. Meghan Markle’s elderly father, Thomas Markle Sr, insisted he’s “fine” after the Duchess of Sussex’s estranged half-sister falsely claimed he was “trapped” on the 19th floor of his Philippines apartment during a deadly earthquake. A bear surprised shoppers at a southern Arizona grocery store when it walked through the front door and ran around inside for a few minutes before exiting the building. Over the weekend, the bear was seen in the neighborhood near the Fry’s location and was spotted again Monday behind the store before entering it.
