The potential partnership means American oil companies could replace Moscow in Europe’s energy sector. Ukraine has pitched the Trump administration a plan that could…
This essay was written by Marc Bekoff, Ph.D., and Colorado’s First Gentleman, Marlon H. Reis. Now more than ever, we must recognize that animals do matter. They are more than symbols of geographic and political divides. They deserve more out of life than to be casualties in our own failed efforts to coexist with one another, much less the natural world. Their worth is not a function of how “human” they look or act. And just as we appreciate individuality in people, so too must we value it in other animals. On Oct. 1, 2025, Jane Goodall passed away. Marc…

How can we be well in a world that feels so desperately unwell? These days, I’m asked this question all the time. Where do we find ground in a world that seems to be on a downward spiral at warp speed, nosediving into what feels like a groundless bottom? And furthermore, how do we create change in a system that has fundamentally changed, and in which all the old rules and methods for creating change no longer exist? First, let me take a step back. Earlier this year, I received some not-so-great test results. They suggested some potentially scary things…
Prince William admitted his dad, King Charles III, and his wife, Kate Middleton, being diagnosed with cancer at the same time took him to “some pretty not great places.” In a preview of the Prince of Wales’ upcoming appearance on Apple TV+’s “The Reluctant Traveler with Eugene Levy,” William said his family has been “lucky” because they “hadn’t had many illnesses in the family for a very long time.” “My grandparents lived until they were in the high nineties,” the dad of three said, referring to his late paternal grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, who died in September 2022 and April 2021,…
Conditions are slowly starting to improve in Bermuda after the island was lashed by powerful winds, heavy rain, and massive waves as Hurricane Imelda passed by late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning. The center of Hurricane Imelda came extremely close to Bermuda but didn’t make landfall. Instead, the hurricane passed just to the south of the island. Despite that, impacts from the hurricane brought down some trees and power lines, and waves kicked up by the storm were seen rushing inland. Now that Hurricane Imelda continues to race away from the island, damage assessments are being conducted. “Assessment crews, including BELCO teams…
