Egypt on Saturday opened a tomb of a pharaoh for visitors after more than two decades of renovation in the southern city of Luxor, as it prepares for the official opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo. The huge tomb of Amenhotep III, who ruled ancient Egypt between 1390 B.C. and 1350 B.C., is located on the western side of the famed Valley of the Kings. It was found in 1799 by two people and its contents were looted, including the sarcophagus, Egyptian antiquities authorities said. Egypt opened a tomb of a pharaoh for visitors on Saturday. Russia launched air strikes in western Ukraine early Sunday, raining missiles and drones on the Lviv region near the Polish border — forcing the NATO country to scramble jets to lock down its skies. Lviv — only 43 miles from Poland — was pounded for hours overnight by missiles and Russian drones as air defenses fired furiously in all directions to fend off the attack, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said. A witness told The Post the latest strike is “definitely the worst hit in Lviv since the beginning of the war.” A fire engulfs a vehicle on the street of…

Arch Manning was in the medical tent once and on the ground way more often. The Texas star endured another difficult day in his first full season as a starter, throwing for 263 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions in a 29-21 loss at Florida on Saturday. He was sacked six times. Manning became the latest inexperienced QB to sink in the Swamp. But he nearly rallied the ninth-ranked Longhorns (3-2, 0-1 Southeastern Conference) down the stretch. The Middle East being the Middle East, it was probably foolish to believe or even hope that the broad support for President Trump’s Gaza peace plan meant the end of the war was near. By Saturday, the only certainty was that a new round of complex negotiations would be needed. Predictably, Hamas is to blame. The terror group made it perfectly clear it’s in no hurry to end the war it started almost exactly two years ago. Proof that Hamas wants peace on the back burner came via its response to a demand from Trump that it meet a Sunday…

Psychological science is really our best shot at making sense of how people think, feel, and act. It’s rooted in old philosophy but runs today on experiments, observation, and data. Back in the late 1800s, Wilhelm Wundt had the bold idea to treat consciousness like something you could study in a lab, the same way you might study a chemical reaction or a falling apple. But people aren’t atoms. We don’t follow fixed laws. We’re emotional and shaped by the world around us. Context, memory, trauma, culture, and love all matter. That’s why psychology can feel less like a clean,…

So many horror movie trailers, such little time! October is finally upon us, and with that comes an increase in horror movies, television shows, and related documentaries! A Colorado man was charged nearly $20,000 for less than half an hour of parking at Denver International Airport — the second such error in two months at one of the nation’s busiest airports. Jim Boyd, of Glenhaven, said he parked for 27 minutes at DIA’s garage Thursday while dropping off his wife for a flight to Germany. The standard fee should have been $7. Instead, his credit card was charged $19,824 as he exited the garage.
