Quiver Distribution and Post Film just announced that production has wrapped on The Last Temptation of Becky. The third film in the franchise sees Lulu Wilson returning as the titular character. This time she’s facing off against Neil Patrick Harris who’s playing a Nazi wannabe. Yes really.
The film hits theaters in summer 2026. That’s all we know about the release date so far.
Becky is Now a CIA Agent (Because Why Not)
The Last Temptation of Becky finds Wilson’s character working as a field agent for the CIA. She’s sent undercover to Poland to infiltrate a family of innkeepers running a tourist venture at The Wolf’s Lair. That’s Hitler’s WWII bunker for anyone unfamiliar.
The father Wilhelm Reuss played by Harris is on a mission to bring about the Fourth Reich. Becky takes matters into her own hands. Which means a lot of people are about to have a very bad day.
The synopsis promises this is “the biggest, bloodiest and most unhinged installment of the franchise yet.” Producer Russ Posternak said they’re “taking everything Becky fans love and turning it up to eleven.” That’s a bold claim considering the first two films didn’t exactly hold back.
The Cast is Surprisingly Stacked

Lulu Wilson returns in the lead role. Neil Patrick Harris plays the villain which is perfect casting for someone who’s built a career playing charming sociopaths. He’s been the villain in A Series of Unfortunate Events and The Matrix Resurrections. Now he gets to be a Nazi.
Kate Siegel returns as Agent Kate Montana. Her character was teased at the end of The Wrath of Becky. Brandon Flynn from 13 Reasons Why joins the cast. So does James Urbaniak from Oppenheimer. That’s a lot of talent for an indie action franchise.
Jenn Wexler Takes Over Directing Duties

Jenn Wexler directed The Last Temptation of Becky. She previously helmed The Ranger and The Sacrifice Game. Matt Angel wrote the screenplay from a story he conceived with Suzanne Coote. Angel and Coote also wrote The Wrath of Becky together.
Wexler said she’s “a huge fan of the first two films” and is “incredibly excited to be a part of the Becky universe and to help carry its legacy forward. Long live Becky!” That enthusiasm shows. The film wrapped production in Northern Ireland after a seven-month shoot.
Why This Franchise Works

The Becky franchise started in 2020 with a simple premise. A teenage girl spending the weekend at a lake house gets attacked by escaped neo-Nazi convicts led by Kevin James. Yes that Kevin James. Turns out she’s far more dangerous than they expected.
The Wrath of Becky followed in 2023. Becky is now two years older and trying to live a normal life. That doesn’t work out. More bad people show up. More violence ensues. The film performed well enough to justify a third installment.
What makes these films work is they don’t apologize for what they are. They’re brutal revenge thrillers that happen to star a teenager. Lulu Wilson commits fully to the role. The action is well choreographed. The violence is uncompromising. Audiences responded to that honesty.
Neil Patrick Harris vs Lulu Wilson is an Inspired Matchup

Quiver Distribution co-presidents Berry Meyerowitz and Jeff Sackman said “Having Neil Patrick Harris facing off against Lulu Wilson will take this series to a whole new level.” They’re not wrong. Harris brings star power the franchise hasn’t had before. He’s also proven he can play unhinged villains convincingly.
The idea of Neil Patrick Harris as a Fourth Reich aspirant is absurd on paper. That’s exactly why it might work. The Becky films have always balanced serious violence with slightly ridiculous premises. A washed-up sitcom star playing a Nazi innkeeper in Poland feels perfectly on brand.
What to Expect

Production wrapped in Northern Ireland which suggests the film utilized locations there to double for Poland. Ben Taylor who directed episodes of Sex Education is not involved this time. That directorial role went to Wexler instead.
The film is produced by Russ Posternak and Chadd Harbold of Post Film. Also producing are Larry Greenberg of Quiver Distribution and Paul Kennedy and Aideen Hand of Village Films. Jordan Yale Levine and Jordan Beckerman are also producers.
Executive producers include Wilson and Harris themselves. Production financing came from Creativity Capital and Media Finance Capital and Northern Ireland Screen.
The Last Temptation of Becky hits theaters in North America in summer 2026. No specific date yet but expect a trailer in the coming months.
