NASCAR has expanded its Cup Series sponsorship to include a fourth premier partner, Freeway Insurance. The sanctioning body, which ended its single title-sponsor system for the Cup Series in 2019, named four cornerstone brands. Busch Beer (now Busch Light), Coca-Cola, GEICO, and Xfinity joined that season. But GEICO left the Premier Partner group after the 2024 season.
The multi-year deal now names Freeway as an official Premier Partner alongside Coca‑Cola, Busch Light, and Xfinity. The company served as the primary sponsorship partner for Daniel Suarez at Trackhouse Racing since the team’s first Cup season in 2021.
NASCAR president Steve O’Donnell commented on the new partnership, saying:
“We’re thrilled to welcome Freeway Insurance to the NASCAR family as a Premier Partner and a race entitlement partner at Phoenix Raceway. Freeway’s commitment further reinforces the strength and growth of NASCAR’s commercial ecosystem as we continue to attract top-tier partners who see the value and excitement of this sport.”
In the new agreement, Freeway also becomes the “Official Insurance Partner” of the stock car association and will take title rights for the fall Cup Series race at Phoenix Raceway. Hence, the Championship Cup Race will be named the Freeway Insurance 500 in 2026.
Freeway Insurance and U.S. Army Veteran CEO Cesar Soriano announced the new partnership with Daniel inside the media center at Phoenix Raceway.
“As someone who has served our country, I take great pride in leading a brand that serves hardworking Americans every day. Trust is the foundation of what we do, whether it’s helping families protect what matters most or supporting a sport that fans trust and love,” Soriano said.

The US personal-lines insurance agency will also continue with Suarez as he joins Spire Motorsports in the No. 7 Chevrolet ZL1 next season.
NASCAR Xfinity Series to undergo title sponsorship change
NASCAR’s second-tier national series will also get a new title sponsor next season. The Xfinity Series, which has carried Comcast’s Xfinity brand as title sponsor since 2015, will be renamed the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series in January 2026. Meanwhile, the first race under the new name will take place on February 14, 2026.
Xfinity will say goodbye to the series with a farewell gift. The final stage of the championship race on Saturday will be broadcast without any advertisements.
The second-tier series was called the Nationwide Series between 2008 and 2014, and before that, the Busch Series.
