Shocking video from Thursday’s deadly knife attack at a UK synagogue shows a cop frantically yelling at horrified onlookers to “go away” because the deranged suspect “has a bomb.”
Two people were killed after a man rammed his car into a crowd outside the Heaton Park synagogue in Manchester before stabbing multiple worshippers who were marking Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the year in Judaism.
In one video from the terrifying incident, a police officer is seen saying, “Everybody else, if you’re not involved, move back. Get away, somebody stay with the casualties. Everybody else, he has a bomb, go away.”
A bystander then says, “He’s got a bomb on him. He’s going to blow himself up, he’s trying to press the button,” according to a graphic video shared on social media.
The unidentified attacker was shot dead by police who arrived minutes after the horror unfolded at the synagogue just after 9:30 a.m.
Thursday’s attack is being investigated as a “marauding terrorist attack,” and hospitals across Manchester are on lockdown.
Four other people were injured in the attack, police confirmed.
