Trump vows he ‘will not allow Israel to annex the West Bank’

Trump has said he will not allow Israel to widen its war against Hamas beyond the Gaza Strip.

“I will not allow Israel to annex the West Bank,” the president told reporters firmly in the Oval Office.

“It’s been enough, it’s time to stop now,” added Trump, who noted he spoke today with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
