Horrific footage shows a crazed gunman chasing his ex-wife through a hospital, then shooting her dead with a shotgun — the same day she slapped him with a restraining order.
Atilla Ayintapli, 44, was charged with murdering Eser Karaca, a 42-year-old mom of two, at the private hospital where she worked as a medical secretary in Kahramanmaras in south-central Turkey, local outlets reported Wednesday.
Harrowing video obtained by NewsX shows Ayintapli, dressed in all black, enter the facility in May and walk into his ex-wife’s office while carrying a plastic bag.
Karaca and a co-worker push him away — then run for their lives when he pulls a shotgun from the bag.
As Karaca tries to escape down a set of stairs, Ayintapli fires and hits her as she holds up her hands helplessly to defend herself.
As she crumples to the ground, the suspected murderer unloads two more rounds at the wounded woman and then leaves, the harrowing video shows.
Moments later, Karaca’s terrified employees run over, screaming and crying as they see her bloodied body. She was rushed into an emergency room in the same hospital but died from her wounds.
Ayintapli fled the building but was later taken into custody. He’s additionally charged with threatening the co-worker with a weapon.
Prosecutors are seeking life imprisonment following the indictment. He is awaiting trial.
The shocking murder came the same day as Karaca filed a restraining order against her ex, who’d been hounding her to get back together despite previous abuse, the reports said.
